It almost reminded me of this book I read called Holidaze which kind of had a bit more Groundhog day vibe to it, but was very Hallmarky in the fact it never explained the mechanics just got to the happy ending. Maybe because I practiced family law and know that there are just as many slimy family lawyers as there are slimy corporate lawyers and it really isn't something your passionate about. But I just cringed every time the MFC kept telling the MMC that family law was his passion versus slimy corporate law. BTTF pt.1 dad is a meek pushover at the beginning, then after the time travelling influence of his future son, he's a confident author. That being said, I'm trying to think of another movie out there other than the BTTF series where the main characters go into the past, change things, and come back to the "present" to see the outcomes of their past changes. I watched it again last night, still enjoyable notwithstanding the end.
